Service Description

Go from idea to finished garments in 12 weeks. In this hands-on studio program, you'll create a mood board, sketch your ideas, and plan a cohesive 2–3 piece capsule collection. Then you'll bring it to life by draping on the dress form, drafting your own patterns, fitting muslin toiles, and sewing your final pieces. What you'll learn: Mood boards, color palettes, and capsule planning Fashion sketching and flats Fabric selection for drape, function and textile knowledge Draping on the dress form Pattern drafting, pattern manipulation, and finishing patterns Fitting muslin toiles and correcting patterns Professional garment construction and finishing Styling and presenting your collection What's included: 12 weekly [3hour per session + open studio sessions] Use of studio dress forms and sewing machines Muslin, pattern paper, and studio supplies What to bring: Your own fashion fabric for your final pieces. We'll cover fabric selection and shopping in Week 3. Who it's for: Beginners and hobby sewists ready to design and make real garments. Basic sewing experience is helpful but not required.
